Review by Lucinda Segneri for Maclaren Twin Techno Stroller, Charcoal On Silver Frame
Rating:
I bought this stroller after nearly a year of struggling with my larger Loola stroller system. I needed something that was compact, lighter, super comfortable for my twins, a great safety harness, with good storage, cup holders, sun and rain protection, manuverability, and fully reclinable into little beds since my twins like to sleep on outtings. I got all of this and more with the Maclaren Twin Techno.

And all of the ads, websites, and materials I reviewed before buying said that this stroller would pass easily through any standard doorway. I didn’t believe it until I saw it for myself! It does! And I live in France, well known for the tiniest little doorways known to man. It has never not passed. I just visited the pediatrician last evening, the ultimate test as the building she is in was built in the 1700′s. It went right it! My husband and I just looked at each other in shock!

The only drawback that I would say this stroller has is that the reclining mechanism is a pain. You have to lift up and pull on both sides of the release system at the same time to recline the seat. This doesn’t leave a free hand to help push the seat back downward. Also, this system will make the back uneven if you aren’t careful with releasing both sides at the same time. When fully reclined, it makes accessing the storage basket impossible.

But other than that, it is fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommend it to any mother of twins! I wish I had found it before they were born!
