This is a great chair! We leave it hooked to our counter island in the kitchen where the rest of the family likes to gather. It is neutral, so it looks nice. It’s also very stable, easy to wipe clean, and our 1 yr old seems comfortable and does not try to climb out of it. I like the buckles-easy for us to manage quickly but still too difficult for children to open. Buckles also are covered with a flap of fabric that snaps over them so they stay clean and out of the toddler’s sight. The seat has a firm bottom so children don’t “sink” into it like a camp chair (like some other models). Our daughter sits up to the table with a Svan chair for our other meals (also highly recommended). This “Fast” chair is very portable and we took it to a relatives’ house for Thanksgiving. I haven’t taken it to restaurants because I fear their tables may not be counter-balanced or stable enough to hold 20+ lbs on one edge. We don’t use the back pocket, but maybe if we traveled with it more we would. This was worth every penny-it’s just what we needed!

I really love this chair. I have 16- month old twins, and this is the second chair I have bought. The first table chair is a Phil & Ted Me Too, and the Inglesina is absolutely superior in ever way. Comparing the two I have found:
– The Phil&Ted is not nearly as comfortable for the child. There is virtually no padding, and the nylon seat is held up by a frame of hard metal bars. So the child has only a hard bar to lean against and a hard metal bar between their chest and the table. The Inglesina has a well-padded (removable!) seat and and high, padded back for the child to lean against. The sides are padded as well, and there is no hard bar in front, only the clip for the safety straps.
– The Phil & Ted’s safety straps are useless. They are an odd design that doesn’t allow you to securely strap the child in, and they tend to fall down the child shoulders, rendering them unable to raise their arms. By contrast, the Inglesina has a nice thick, easy to use strap and click buckle that holds the child securely but comfortably.
– Most astonishingly, the Phil&Ted cannot be disassembled so there is no way to clean it properly. Who on earth makes a toddler high chair that can’t be laundered?? I’ve tried spot cleaning it, but because of the gathers in the fabric, its almost impossible to clean it well. I hate it; its a bacteria laden mess at this point. By contrast, the Inglesina is easy..you just click off the arms and remove the seat, which is machine-washable. You don’t even have to unclamp the arms from the table. Wonderful!
I just ordered another Inglesina and as soon as I get it, the Phil& Ted is going in the trash. It wasn’t inexpensive either, so I am really disgusted.
Get the Inglesina, you won’t regret it!

Easy to use and works well even on a table with a 4 inch “skirt.” Cheaper version of the same kind of product wouldn’t fit my table at all.

I bought this chair so my daughter could sit at the counter with my son and eat breakfast and lunch with him, because I was always holding her before. Previously I had purchased a cheaper chair that had a longer brace underneath, but it did not open wide enough to fit on my counter!! So I finally shelled out some more money and bought this one, and it has been worth every penny! It opens plenty wide enough to clamp onto our thick granite-tile counter, and it is very sturdy! I was yanking fairly hard on it in every direction and it did not budge! Plus I like that it has a firm bottom so my daughter is not sagging in the chair (since she is already small that would make eating even tougher). It’s easy to wipe down and also easy to take apart to wash when it gets really grimy. My almost-three-year-old son even climbed in once and I was very glad it held his weight!! It is nice and small and doesn’t take up a lot of space at the counter, which is really nice! I gave it only four stars because although I love it so much and it is absolutely perfect for the counter, it is not designed to fit onto a table with a skirt (like our table).

We’ve been using this chair for a few months and it’s great. The only downside is it doesn’t fit on tables with a lip under the edge. It is well made and looks nice.
