Thoughtful Design,
Shopping for our second stroller, I was going to buy a European Stroller until I found the B-scene (you have to ignore the vanity). This is a great stroller for regular use – obviously not for jogging. We love this stroller!
As a new product (late 2010) you can tell it incomporates practical feedback from customers
Pros:
+ Wide enough for our kid who grew out of the infant stroller at 6months
+ Canopy extends to shield the kid’s face from the sun
+ Mesh cover at the top is magnetic (not velcro which wakes the child)
+ Can have the child face forward or towards you
+ Footrest – our kid loves this rather than dangling feet freely
+ Easy to collapse
+ adjustable handle for parents
Cons:
- It’s durable but not rock solid sturdy
- Wheels are not air filled but the frame does absorb vibration
- Basket underneath can hang low
- Wide so it can be tricky at some stores that are narrow (e.g. some pottery barns)
- handles have foam which kids will chew (would be nice to have a cover of somekind)
Aside from that… check for deals on diapers.com to save a little more (no worries they are owned by Amazon anyway)

|Perfect for me!,
I was looking for a second stroller after realizing the one I had wasn’t durable enough for long walks in the park and unpaved roads. I researched all over before I found the B-Scene. I love this stroller! My 6.5 month old looks so comfortable and the ride is super smooth. I took it through uncut grass and although it wasn’t super smooth it went through well enough. We took an hour walk yesterday and I never got tired pushing it like I did with my smaller and lighter weight stroller. It was pretty windy so we used the rain sheild and it was simple to put on and kept my little one nice and warm. I love the three wheel design and the reversible seat. The adjustable handle makes it super comfortable to push. The seat is wide and deep so my daughter has a harder time throwing her toys off of the side. I love the easy recline and the easy adjustment of the shoulder straps. The one touch wheel lock is so easy and I don’t have to worry about it hurting my toes. The only downside is that it can be a little bulky when folded but there is a automatic lock and it fits fine in my small Jetta trunk. I was a little worried about spending so much money on a stroller but it was well worth the price.

|great easy to use,
Great product .. only two issue wide wheels sometimes make it hard to get into small locations. Two no cup holder

|Wonderful cross between Phil Ted’s and City Select,
I usually write reviews when I hate a product but I have to make an exception this time. This stroller is amazing, I have a 4 year old, a 15 month old and another one on the way and I tried everything from Phil and Ted’s to City Select and Graco Duo Glider (not sure about the name). It’s almost like they took the best parts of Phil and Ted’s and City Select and created this stroller. This is by far the easiest to push even with a 35 pound 4 year old and a 24 pound 15 month old. I can navigate it fully with one hand when I have one kid in it. It handles very well even uphill. Both seats are the same size, just the second seat does not have the foot rest which makes sense because the kid’s feet are in the basket underneath anyway. There is plenty of storage even with the second child’s feet in the basket, you can reach it from the front of the stroller which is a life saver, again, when you have the second kid in. The bottom seat is much more spacious, higher from the ground and airy than Phil and Teds and it reclines fully, my 15 month old sleeps down there (It’s the same 15 month old who refused to even go in Phil and Ted’s, I had to return it). The seats are much larger than City Select (even the 2011 version with which the seats are an inch longer) and overall it’s much shorter than City Select which makes it much easier to navigate. You don’t need to walk around the stroller and pull up the front to get up a curb (that was ridiculous!) Also, I didn’t feel safe with City Select because the second kid is so far out, he’s out of your reach. It comes fully loaded with all the accessories except the universal car seat adapter and double rain cover. Belly bar, cup holder, Britax car seat adapter, single rain cover, storage pouch (which can’t be used with the second seat on but I attached it to the handle bar, it works great) all included. The pictures don’t do justice, I was expecting a dull gray, it’s however a bright silver color, very high quality fabric. It’s easy to fold even with the second seat attached but it’s pretty heavy. It’s not a problem for us because we live in Manhattan and rarely have to lift it and put it in a car but it might be an issue if you drive all the time. I guess all doubles come heavy anyway.
After months of research, reading reviews and using other strollers, I finally found the one! And I’m finally getting rid of my Bugaboo (and the humble Buggy Board) because this can easily be used as a single too.

|Great stroller with minor problem when you use the infant car seat,
This is a great stroller. If you don’t use the second seat, the storage basket is HUGE. I can easily store a smaller cooler along with my large diaper bag (with room to spare) in it when we go to the beach and the parks. The seat reclines very nicely and I was able to use it with my rather large perschooler just fine. The stroller itself handled really well with my daughter in it (she’s 45 lbs). The one step break system on the stroller is very nice. I like that it has many compartments for drinks. The stroller comes with a cupholder but it also has a storage unit on the bottom where you can hold 2 more drinks. When I have my baby with me, I use the cupholder for my coffee, one of the bottom cup holder for my daughter’s water bottle and the other one for my son’s bottle. The seat can be easily removed so that you can use the stroller with an infant car seat. I have the Britax infant carseat and it fits very nice in it. My only complain is that it is a hassle to unclick the infant car seat from the stroller. Basically, you are suppposed to be able to pushed two buttons on each side of the stroller to unlock the car seat from it. However, because where the unlocking clicks are located are hard to reach, I basically always have to release one side and then another while making sure the side I already released does not click lock again. For the next model, this is something that the company needs to improve on.
The stroller itself is very stylish. After I bought my stroller, my best friend bought one for herself also. My stroller is silver and her’s is green. I thought the green looks more classy than the silver, but both of us get stopped by people all of the time. People either comment on how stylish and nice the stroller looks or they want to know what brand because they are interersted by checking it out in the stores.
The stroller is a bit pricey, but the quality is there. My best friend (who also owns the exact same stroller) and I both agreed that it is well worth the price. We owned other cheaper stollers before buying this, but after using this stroller, we agreed that we should have invested in a nice stroller like this one to begin with.
