I love my baby jogger summit xc. I looked at many jogging strollers and almost didn’t look at this because of the high cost. However, I’m so glad I went with this stroller.

Pros:

* The front swivel wheel is a huge help when navigating around the park or stores.

* The ability to lock it into place while jogging is great too.

* It is easy to control one handed

* The tether strap and hand break add safety

* The stroller folds very small for a jogger (smaller than my travel system stroller)

* The wide wheel base makes for a steady, stable ride

* Shocks allow you to run and baby to be comfortable, it also allows the stroller to go off the pavement (we took ours on an uneven walking path through the woods and it handled the roots and rocks well)

* Very easy to fold

* Pretty big basket under the stroller (compared to other joggers) as well as a mesh storage space behind the seat.

* Reclines for sleeping baby

* Huge canopy covers most of the baby from the sun.

Cons:

* If you plan on using this stroller as an everyday stroller, it is very difficult to get through some stores with it (I have knocked over a couple of displays trying to get the back wheels through the isles).

* No parent tray or child tray (both can be bought separately, I bought a jolly jumper parent tray that works perfectly around the hand break).

I got this stroller last week and it is fabulous. It really will go anywhere. We have taken it to the mall, the park, and on hiking trails on our farm. Truly an all-terrain stroller. The front wheel locks for power walking or jogging and I have not had any issues with this (wheel shaking or pulling to one side). The stroller handles with ease, even one handed when the baby refused to ride in it. It will turn on a dime and folds easily. The single handed folding certainly sold me on this one. It is light weight and the hand brake is a must if you are going to be on hilly terrain. Overall this is the best stroller I have ever owned. Definitely get one.

All features are excellent on this jogger except the underneath storage. It is very small. The price is way too high as well. Go with the Joovy 360. It has all the same features and has excellent storage for half the price.

My 4 year old is 45 inches tall. Finding a stroller that would accomodate a child this tall was a great challenge. We do a lot of Disney and other long walking activities, and it was just not feasible to expect him to last all day on his feet under those conditions.

I read reviews for 2 1/2 months and had narrowed it down to BOB Revolution and the Baby Jogger Summit XC. I decided on the Baby Jogger simply because it has 2 inches more headroom. I have had the stroller since March 2010 now and it has gone on many trips already.

Pros (for me anyway):

By far the smoothest rolling stroller I have ever pushed. The shocks are just amazing. You feel it give with every stride!

My son fits in it perfectly. His knees aren’t at his chest, his feet are not dangling, and his head has room even with the canopy fully extended.

HUGE canopy!

Turns on a dime

Seems amazingly made

My son loves it

Hand Brake

Swivel and locking front wheel

Awesome accessories available. I purchased the pump, childs tray, adult concole with MP3 hookup and the travel bag.

Great to be checked as luggage while in the travel bag.

With the wheels removed, it will fit in just about any trunk.

The wheels remove VERY easily

The one hand fold is truly one hand fold.

Cons:

The mere size of it. It will not fit through security. It has to be handled like a wheel chair, which is fine.

Just allow more time to get through security

When folded with the accessories, or even the wheels it is very heavy and bulky

A little difficult to unfold because of the size and weight

The basket is neither a pro nor con. For a jogger it is good sized, and worked better if accessed from the sides. There is also a pouch behind the seat that holds quite a bit.

I absolutely love this stroller. I am very happy with my choice.

We just received this yesterday but I couldn’t be happier with the product. While it is expensive, it has the best of all of the features from various models. Great suspension with a very smooth ride, I didn’t see any pulling one way or the other. Huge air filled tires go over anything, one step foot break to lock both tires at once. It has a tether which I wasn’t sure I would use, however even on a flat surface, once the stroller gets going if you let it go it just keeps moving due to the bearings on the tires. It’s got a ton of room for my daughter to grow into over the next 3-4 years and the sun shade is huge. You do have to buy things like the child and parent console, but this is the only jogger that I found that actually offers a child console instead of just pockets on the side. The console is key to hold her sippy cup or bottle and a toy.

The nicest thing however how easy it folds with just one hand. Grab the strap in the seat and pull up. The stroller collapses in on itself and collapses smaller than our travel system stroller. Yesterday I was able to pick up my daughter in one arm and then pick up and collapse the stroller with the other hand and bring both upstairs at the same time. I would never have been able to do that with my travel system stroller. Even our McLaren umbrella type stroller takes more than one hand to fold up.

I would recommend this to anyone who was looking. While expensive, it is worth the money, and they resell pretty easily if you have kept it in good condition.
