Review by K. Devlin for Baby Jogger F.I.T. Single Jogging Stroller, Kiwi/Black
Rating:
I have a new baby, I have a Chicco travel system and the stroller stinks for exercise purposes. I have a Jeep stroller, which would suffice for my 3-4 mile walks, if I could attach my infant seat in some way. So I did some research and there were a few models that allowed for my infant seat to fit with them. I was debating between this model, the summit XC also a Baby Jogger brand, the InStyle Safari and the Schwinn – Free Wheeler. The InStyle and Schwinn are economical and don’t require an additional attachment purchase, but didn’t look as nice and didn’t have colors that “worked” with my car seat color. The Summit XC was $100 more and the only added feature seemed to be the swivel front wheel.
I ordered this and have Amazon Prime and received it the very next day. The stroller itself was super easy to assemble. I only had to put on the wheels and the foot rest – total assmbly took all of 10 minutes. This stroller truly does only require 1 hand to fold. The stroller itself his heavy, but I’m not planning on taking it out shopping. My primary purpose is strictly to use it for exercising and walk/jogs around my neighborhood and they are straight runs, so I wasn’t too concerned about the front wheel having the swivel feature.
I also ordered the infant seat kit – if you have a Chicco infant seat, you need to get the Chicco infant seat kit – there are 2 infant seat kits one for Chicco and one for all other compatible infant seats. I will review that kit under that product item.
At this point I’m satisfied and strolling it around the house it seems as though it’s going to be a dream to use. I haven’t had a chance to get outside and take a walk yet as it’s been raining since I receive it.
