Our babies’ mattresses had protectors already and in my opinion regular sheets on vinyl coated mattresses was not enough.
That’s why i decided to by anything better – more for my babies’ comfort than for mattress protection.
The procuct exceeded all my expectations: deep enough, doesn’t slip when i am changing the sheet, not too thin and not too thick, keeps temperature comfortable, smells good (which is very important, too).
Don’t know yet how much will ithe pad actually protect from moisture, but it is very well manufactured.
A reliable, high quality product.
Every time coming to my babies and feeling the smell of natural wool from the pad i realize again that i made the right hoice.

I wanted a mattress pad that had natural waterproofing (wool) in it and was washable since I already have a waterproof crib mattress. At first the smell of the wool was really strong but after washing (washed up beautifully by the way) it has just a faint pleasant natural wool smell. I love that I am ensuring that my toddler is at least breathing a few less chemicals too. I wish I would have found this years ago.

This is the best mattress pad I’ve seen, and I have tried 4 different brands already. I just purchased another one.
The other three waterproof mattress pads I tried made baby sweat. They are all waterproof, but it didn’t really have much absorption layer so it prevented the wee from soaking into the mattress but it soaked into baby’s clothes and the blankets instead.
This Smart dri kept everything pretty much dry. At first, I wasn’t even really sure if it was really wet as our bub slept right through. It was kind of damp but not soaking wet. I poured some water to see if it really absorbed that well, and it did.
I highly recommend this for anyone. I give thumbs up!
